Sodom and Gomorrah
Evidence of extreme heat destruction at Tall el-Hammam.

Scripture Reference: Genesis 19:24
"Then the Lord rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah—from the Lord out of the heavens."
The Evidence
Excavations at Tall el-Hammam (likely biblical Sodom) reveal a catastrophic destruction layer. Archaeologists found pottery shards with surfaces melted into glass (requiring temperatures over 4,000°F), 'shards' of human bone, and high concentrations of salt and sulfur, consistent with a cosmic airburst event.
Historical Context
The 'destruction matrix' contains evidence of extreme heat (melted zircon, shocked quartz) that cannot be explained by warfare or fire. It matches the biblical description of fire and sulfur raining from the sky.
