The Nature of Light & Time

Photons do not experience time, reflecting God's eternal nature.

Scripture Reference: 1 John 1:5, 2 Peter 3:8
"God is light; in him there is no darkness at all... With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day."

The Evidence

According to Einstein's Theory of Special Relativity, time slows down as you approach the speed of light. For a photon traveling at light speed, time effectively stops—it does not age. This physical reality mirrors the biblical description of God as 'Light' who exists outside of time (eternal).

Scientific Validation

Time dilation is a proven scientific fact. At the speed of light (c), t' = t * sqrt(1 - v^2/c^2) becomes zero. A photon emitted at the Big Bang and absorbed today has experienced zero time duration.

Significance

A profound connection between the physics of light and the theology of God's eternity.
